EU: ENISA publishes reports on security incidents

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity ('ENISA') published, on 29 May 2020, reports on security incidents in order to improve the proactive detection of network security incidents within the EU by providing an inventory of available measures and information sources, identifying good practices, and recommending potential areas for improvement. In particular, the report detailing the survey results ('the Survey Report') outlines the usage of the different tools and the most often used measures, effort, and expertise required to implement such measures. Furthermore, the report on measures and information sources ('the Measures and Information Sources Report') evaluates available methods, tools, activities, and information sources to enable detection of network incidents. Finally, the report on the good practices gap analysis ('the Good Practices Report') provides an overview of good practices and recommendations, including the monitoring of local infrastructure, network flows, and DNS requests.
