California: CPPA to hold statewide pre-rulemaking stakeholder sessions
On April 24, 2024, the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) invited the public to attend three statewide stakeholder sessions to learn about and provide feedback on proposed regulations on automated decision-making technology, risk assessments, and cybersecurity audits.
The CPPA stated that each session will include a brief presentation on the draft regulations and an overview of the rulemaking process. Additionally, the CPPA will give information on how to participate when formal comment periods open, which is likely to be held later in 2024.
You can read the press release and register for the sessions here.
