Morocco: CNDP launches online platform to raise privacy awareness of children and women

The Moroccan data protection authority ('CNDP') announced, on 9 December 2022, that it had launched an online platform named 'Koun3labal'. In particular, the CNDP noted that Koun3labal aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • to raise awareness of digital privacy among children, adolescents, women, parents, and teachers;
  • to be a point of reference in the area of privacy and data protection, as Koun3labal will contain guidelines, good practices, and educational resources in the field of privacy;
  • to further involve children by organising workshops, competitions, and setting up ambassador spaces to raise awareness on digital privacy; and
  • to provide civil society and all actors concerned with tools for raising privacy awareness by women and the young.
