Summary: Dominica has entered into an intergovernmental agreement with the USA on the application of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ('FATCA'). FATCA requires foreign financial institutions to report to the USA Internal Revenue Service ('IRS') in regard to financial accounts held by US taxpayers, or by foreign entities in which US taxpayers hold a substantial ownership interest. In addition, Dominica is currently a member of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court which is part of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States.
