International: Bosnia & Herzegovina ratifies Convention 108+

On July 7, 2023, the Council of Europe (CoE) announced that Bosnia & Herzegovina had transmitted the instrument of ratification of the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Automatic Processing of Personal Data (Convention 108+) to the CoE Secretary General, thus becoming the 27th State Party to join Convention 108+. In addition, the CoE highlighted that Bosnia & Herzegovina is also among the five State Parties already applying the Convention 108+ provisions.

Notably, the CoE detailed that only 11 more ratifications are needed for Convention 108+ to enter into force.
