Slovenia: Commissioner publishes information on submitting complaints under DSA
On April 30, 2024, the Information Commissioner (the Commissioner) published an explanation of the concepts of the work of a digital services coordinator and instructions for users under the Digital Services Act (DSA). The Commissioner was previously designated as the Digital Services Coordinator under the DSA following the Implementing Act of the DSA.
In particular, the Commissioner highlighted that any individual who believes the provider has violated any obligations under the DSA can file a complaint with the Commissioner. The Commissioner will examine the complaint, handle it accordingly, and, if necessary, forward it to the competent authorities in Slovenia or in another EU member state.
Individuals can send the complaint by email to [email protected] or to the address: Agencija za komunikacijska omrežja in storitve Republike Slovenije, Stegne 7, 1000 Ljubljana.
Complaints can also be submitted in person, on the record, at the Commissioner's office on Monday to Friday from 9 am to 11 am and on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
You can read the press release with the explanations on the DSA here and the press release on the designation here, both only available in Slovenian.
