West Virginia: Bill for Cybersecurity Programs introduced to Senate and referred to Committee

On February 29, 2024, House Bill 5338 for a Consumer Data Protection Act and Safe Harbor for Cybersecurity Programs was introduced to the West Virginia State Senate and, on the same date, referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, following its passage by the West Virginia House of Representatives on February 28, 2024. The bill provides for the creation of a cybersecurity program framework.
