Turkey: KVKK approves Celltrion Healthcare İlaç Sanayi application for data transfer abroad
On January 29, 2024, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) announced that it had approved Celltrion Healthcare İlaç Sanayi ve Limited's application for a commitment letter regarding the transfer of personal data abroad. In particular, the KVKK noted that the application was evaluated under the provisions of Article 9(b)(2) of Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data. Furthermore, the KVKK highlighted that the approval for the data transfer was given on August 30, 2023.
