Slovenia: New Electronic Communications Act enters into force
The Electronic Communications Act ('ZEKom-2') entered into force, on 10 November 2022, having been published, on 11 October 2022, in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 130/22. In particular, the ZEKom-2 updates the Electronic Communications Act 2012 ('ZEKom-1'), which is repealed as of the entry into force of the ZEKom-2, and transposes into Slovenian law the Directive on the European Electronic Communications Code (Directive (EU) 2018/1972).
