International: AUSTRAC and Qatar FIU sign MoU on CTF
The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre ('AUSTRAC') announced, on 12 November 2019, that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding ('MoU') with the Qatar Financial Intelligence Unit ('Qatar FIU') to strengthen cooperation on countering terrorist financing ('CTF'). In particular, the AUSTRAC noted that the MoU aims to enhance cooperation and information sharing between the two agencies.
