Costa Rica: PRODHAB resolution suspends data protection procedural deadlines for one month, excluding Coronavirus consultations

The Costa Rican data protection authority ('PRODHAB') issued, on 13 July 2020, a resolution ('the Resolution') amending data protection procedural timelines in light of COVID-19 ('Coronavirus'). In particular, the Resolution suspends, for one month, the deadlines in procedures carried out by PRODHAB, such as database registration procedures and deadlines for responding to queries relating to the protection of personal data, except for consultative questions relating to the processing of personal data due to Coronavirus.

You can read the Resolution, only available in Spanish, here.
