Colorado: House Bill amending CPA to address biological data introduced to Senate

On February 12, 2024, House Bill 24-1058 on Protect Privacy of Biological Data was introduced to the Colorado Senate. The bill was assigned to the Senate Business, Labor, and Technology Committee. If passed, the bill would amend the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) by expanding the definition of 'sensitive data' to include biological data.
