UK: Data Protection and Digital Information Bill passes third reading
On November 29, 2023, the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill (the Bill) passed its report stage and was read for a third time by the House of Commons, and will now proceed to the House of Lords for consideration. In particular, the Bill carries over the Data Protection and Digital Information (No. 2) Bill and reintroduces it in the 2023-24 session.
