The National Information Technology Authority ('NITA-U') published, on 19 May 2020, a privacy policy ('the Privacy Policy') for the COVID-19 ('Coronavirus') tracing app developed by the Ministry of Health and NITA-U. In particular, the Privacy Policy highlights, among other things, that users need to only submit their mobile phone number, that users need to give their consent to the collection of data, that no personal data is collected in the app, and that the app does not track users' location.
