Turkey: KVKK approves Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Limited application for data transfer abroad
The Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) announced, on March 30, 2023, that it had granted approval for Google Reklamcılık ve Pazarlama Limited's application for a commitment letter regarding the transfer of personal data abroad. In particular, the KVKK noted that the application was evaluated under the provisions of Article 9(b)(2) of Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data. Furthermore, the KVKK highlighted that the approval for the data transfer was given on August 30, 2023.
