Thailand: PDPC launches public consultation on draft DPO decree
The Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) launched, on July 12, 2023, a public consultation on a draft decree on the appointment of data protection officers (DPOs) by data controllers and processors under the Personal Data Protection Act 2019 (PDPA). If approved, the draft decree provides for its entry into force 90 days from the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
Comments may be submitted until July 26, 2023, via the dedicated portal.
