Qatar: MoTC launches Tasdeeq documents handling portal and app
The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) launched, on 29 October 2019, a shared service platform ('the Tasdeeq') offering ratification and validation services to government and corporate organisations in Qatar. The Tasdeeq provides a collaborative environment where individuals, government and private entities can interact together through a single portal to validate and authenticate documents, store and share information in a secure manner and with a high level of confidentialtiy due to an encryption feature which only allows authorised parties to access and verify user information. Moreover, the Tasdeeq enables users to digitally sign documents and includes further security features such as digital signatures which become automatically damaged if a document is tampered with.
