Qatar: MOTC and QFC sign MoU on technological and economic development
The Ministry of Transport and Communications ('MOTC') announced, on 9 January 2019, that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding ('MoU') with the Qatar Financial Centre ('QFC') on the technological and economic development of Qatar. The MOTC noted that the MoU aims to support the digital development of ICT, particularly with regard to start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs, as well as improve economic development in Qatar by promoting and attracting global e-commerce.
