New York: Bills for Privacy Act dies in State Senate and Assembly
OneTrust DataGuidance confirmed, on 16 June 2021, with the office of New York State Senator Kevin Thomas that Senate Bill ('SB') 6701 for the New York Privacy Act and Assembly Bill A680A for the New York Privacy Act had died in the New York State Senate and New York Assembly respectively, following their failure to pass before the end of the 2021 legislative session.
