Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: LfDI Mecklenburg-Vorpommern publishes guidance for business owners resuming work during Coronavirus

The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ('LfDI Mecklenburg-Vorpommern') published, on 11 May 2020, guidance ('the Guidance') for business owners advising them how to conduct business during the COVID-19 ('Coronavirus') pandemic in a privacy-compliant manner. In particular, the LfDI Mecklenburg-Vorpommern issues guidance and forms for hairdressers, tanning salons, nail salons, cosmetic institutes, cafes, restaurants, and other catering establishments, as well as guidance for event organisers. Moreover, the LfDI Mecklenburg-Vorpommern details how the principles of transparency, confidentiality, data minimisation, purpose limitation, and data storage can be met.
