Maryland: Bill on unsolicited telephone calls sent to Governor for action

Senate Bill 90 for An Act concerning Commercial Law – Consumer Protection – Telephone Solicitation (Stop the Spam Calls Act of 2023) was passed, on 7 April 2023, as an enrolled bill, by the Maryland State Senate, and sent to the Maryland Governor, Wes Moore, for action. In particular, the bill was introduced to the Senate, on 11 January 2023, and thereafter passed three readings both in the Senate and the House of Delegates.
