Liechtenstein: DSS publishes blog on first BCR approved in Liechtenstein
On August 28, 2023, the Liechtensteiner data protection authority (DSS) published a blog on the Binding Corporate Rules for controllers (BCR-C) of Hilti AG, which were the first ever BCR's to be approved by the DSS in 2022.
In the blog, the DSS discusses how Hilti AG implemented the BCR-C for third-country data transfers, including how the company cooperated closely with the DSS during the drafting and approval processes.
Finally, the blog advises companies that BCR's are a continuous process and companies should analyze the kind of data transfers they use BCR's for.
