Jersey: JFSC publishes consolidated AML/CFT handbook
The Jersey Financial Services Commission ('JFSC') announced, on 7 March 2022, that it had published, on 31 January 2022, the consolidated AML/CFT Handbook, following the initial announcement of the planned changes and the launch of the relevant consultation on the same in November 2021.
In particular, the JFSC noted that the consolidated AML/CFT Handbook will become effective on 31 May 2022 and will be applicable to all supervised persons, which are those described as 'relevant persons' in the Money Laundering (Jersey) Order 2008.
