International: White House issues joint leaders' statement on Quadrilateral Security Dialogue meeting

The U.S. White House issued, on 24 May 2022, a statement following the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue held in Tokyo with the Prime Ministers of Australia, India, and Japan regarding Indo-Pacific cooperation. In particular, the statement addresses various points of discussion of the meeting, including:

  • cybersecurity and improving critical infrastructure defences through the sharing of threat information, risk identification and evaluation in supply chains for digitally enabled products and services, and ensuring that baseline software security standards are aligned;
  • critical and emerging technologies; and
  • climate and the need to strengthen climate actions.
