International: Romania signs Convention 108+
The Council of Europe ('CoE') announced, on 26 June 2020, that Romania had signed the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data ('Convention 108+). In particular, the CoE outlined that Romania has been party to Convention 108 since June 2002 and became the 39th country to sign Convention 108+.
