International: MCIT signs LoI with Gambian MOICI on ICT cooperation
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology ('MCIT') announced, on 18 July 2019, that it had signed a Letter of Intent ('LoI') with the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure of The Gambia ('MOICI') on enhancing cooperation in information and communication technology ('ICT'). In particular, the MCIT highlighted that the LoI concerns, among other things, cooperation in policies, regulatory tools, digital transformation, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and Computer Emergency Response Teams.
