International: EEC publishes report on blockchain and cryptocurrency regulation in the EAEU
The Eurasian Economic Commission ('EEC') published, on 22 July 2019, a report ('the Report') on blockchain and cryptocurrency regulation in the Eurasian Economic Union ('EAEU'). In particular, the Report outlines, among other things, the difference in the approaches of the EAEU member states on cryptocurrency regulation and aims to harmonise such approaches by creating a single terminology glossary, key principles and a best practise model for blockchain regulation.
