Indonesia: Kominfo confirms its continued supervision and monitoring of satellite telecommunication provider services
On May 20, 2024, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) announced that it will continue to supervise and monitor satellite telecommunication provider services.
In particular, Kominfo highlighted that a telecommunications service provider must also prepare interoperability of services, access to consumer complaints, and guarantee the protection of personal data in accordance with Law 36 of 1999 concerning Telecommunications.
