Indiana: Bill on consumer data protection undergoes second reading

Senate Bill 5 on consumer data protection underwent a second reading, on 7 February 2023, in the State Senate. In particular, the Senate had also voted on amendments introduced to the bill by the Committee on Commerce and Technology and engrossed the approved amendments. Notably, the bill was first read and introduced to the Committee on 9 January 2023.
