Eswatini: ESCCOM becomes member of RAPDP
On June 2, 2023, the Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM) announced that it became a member of the African Network of Personal Data Protection Authorities (RAPDP), on May 11, 2023 in the general assembly. In particular, ESCCOM confirmed that it applied for membership to join RAPDP in exercise of its mandate as the data protection authority.
The RAPDP was established in 2016 and comprises several African privacy and data protection authorities from different geographical and linguistic areas, with the aim of setting up a platform for exchanges and cooperation between its members.
