DIFC: DIFC and Bank of Mauritius sign MoU on exchange of information in banking and finance sectors

The Dubai International Financial Center ('DIFC') announced, on 15 February 2022, that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding ('MoU') with the Bank of Mauritius ('the Bank') to facilitate the exchange of information in, among other things, banking and finance. In particular, the DIFC noted that the MoU establishes a formal framework for cooperation and assistance between the Bank and the DIFC, as well as a framework related to capacity-building in the financial services sector.

Furthermore, the DIFC specified that cooperation is a key element of the MoU and both parties will be focusing on strengthening collaboration in the field of research pertaining to financial services, banking, cybersecurity, and FinTech, among other sectors.
