Czech Republic: Ministry of Justice issues update on whistleblowing bill
The Ministry of Justice issued, on 28 June 2022, an update on the draft Bill on the Protection of Whistleblowers. In particular, the Ministry announced that comments are currently being reviewed and that, according to the Government's legislative work plan, the bill should be submitted to it in September 2022, while its discussion and subsequent submission to the House of Representatives can be expected by the end of this year. The Ministry further noted that the bill is proposed to come into effect on 1 July 2023.
