Colorado: Personal data privacy bill passes in State House

The Colorado House of Representatives passed, on 7 June 2021, Senate Bill ('SB') 21-190 for an Act concerning additional protection of data relating to personal privacy, following a third reading with no amendments. In particular, SB 21-190 will now be sent back to the Colorado State Senate to confirm the House's amendments from the second reading before it can be sent to the Governor of Colorado, Jared Schutz Polis, for signature, and if approved, will go into effect on 1 July 2023.
