The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission ('CBIRC') announced, on 19 October 2022, the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Social Credit Regulations, during the 13th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress on 14 October 2022. In particular, the CBIRC highlighted that the Guizhou Provincial Social Credit Regulations will enter into force on 1 January 2023.
