China: CAC releases seventh batch of deep synthesis service algorithm registration information
On August 5, 2024, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) announced that it released the seventh batch of deep synthesis service algorithm registration information.
The CAC outlines that under Article 19 of the Internet Information Service Deep Synthesis Management Regulation, deep synthesis service providers with public opinion attributes or social mobilization capabilities must perform the filing, changing, and cancellation filing procedures, following the 'Regulations on the Administration of Algorithm Recommendation of Internet Information Services.' Deep synthesis service technical supporters must follow the same procedures for filing, changing, and cancellation filing.
