Canada: IAB Canada publishes guide on mobile and in-app advertising

The Interactive Advertising Bureau Canada ('IAB Canada') released, on 1 September 2020, its guide to mobile app and in-app advertising. In particular, the guide aims to provide concise definitions around mobile advertising, and discusses research supporting mobile advertising, available ad formats, and targeting and buying strategies, among other things. Specifically, the guide addresses matters such as buying mobile ads, monetisation, targeting strategies for marketing such as contextual versus behavioural advertising, as well as tracking and best practices.
