Bosnia and Herzegovina: AZLP publishes 2020 report on personal data protection

The Agency for Personal Data Protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina ('AZLP') published, on 15 March 2022, a report on personal data protection for 2020 No. 01-02-4-661-1/21, dated 9 June 2021, pursuant to Article 40(1)(c) of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 49/06. In particular, the report notes that no audit inspections were performed in 2020.

Furthermore, the report provides that 11 extraordinary inspections were carried out in the precedure upon complaint of personal data subjects and ex officio. In addition, the report notes a total of 168 complaints, whereby 108 of the complaint procedures were completed, of which 27 were fully accepted, while 7 complaints were partially accepted, 28 complaints were rejected, and 21 conclusions were adopted.
