Argentina: AAIP adopts information security policy for access to public information

On October 31, 2023, the Argentinian data protection authority (AAIP) published Resolution 211/2023, in which it approved the Information security policy of the Agency for Access to Public Information. The policy aims to strengthen the security of the information that the AAIP receives, produces, and manages, in accordance with the minimum information security requirements for national public sector bodies. Additionally, the policy seeks to protect information resources and technological tools from internal and external threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, availability, legality, and reliability of the information.
