Albania: IDPC announces ratification of Convention 108+ and Convention 205/2009

The Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner ('IDP') announced, on 28 January 2022, that the Permanent Representative of Albania to the Council of Europe ('CoE'), Mr. Dastid Koreshi, signed and ratified two new laws, the Amending Protocol to the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data ('Convention 108+') and Council of Europe Convention 205/2009 on Access to Official Documents ('Convention 205/2009'), to facilitate public access to information produced or maintained by public authorities.
