Alaska: Companion bills for Alaska Consumer Data Privacy Act die in House and Senate

OneTrust DataGuidance confirmed, on 14 June 2021, with the Alaska State Legislature that House Bill ('HB') 159 for an Act establishing the Consumer Data Privacy Act as well as Senate Bill ('SB') 116 for an Act establishing the Consumer Data Privacy Act, have died following failure to pass their respective Labor and Commerce Committees, as the legislative session has ended.
