Alabama: House passes data breach notification bill
The Attorney General of Alabama ('AG'), Steve Marshall, announced, on 22 March 2018, that the Alabama House of Representatives ('the House') had passed the bill for the Alabama Data Breach Notification Act (SB 318), following the Senate's approval on 1 March 2018.

The AG announced, on 27 March 2018, the final passage of the draft Alabama Data Breach Notification Act following a second vote by the Senate.
