Senator seeks public comment on draft bill for Washington Privacy Act
Washington State Senator Reuven Carlyle announced the release of a new draft bill for the Washington Privacy Act 2021, and which is now available for public comment and feedback.
Deputy introduces bill seeking to suspend provisions of decree creating Brazilian ANPD
Deputy Allesandro Molon introduced a new Bill to the Chamber of Deputies in relation to the recent Decree which approved the regulatory structure and framework of the positions of the Brazilian data protection authority.
UK free trade agreement with Japan enables free flow of data
The UK Government announced that it had agreed the UK-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in principle, which constitutes the first such post-Brexit agreement.
