More on California Privacy Law
With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) setting the trend for privacy laws worldwide, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), which was passed subsequent to the CCPA, brought about the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA).
The CPPA has been established to offer an extra layer of protection for consumers’ personal information and consumer data, providing an office of administrative law to deal with the ramifications of new regulations. This agency will handle CCPA enforcement and CCPA compliance, as well as the same for the CPRA.
With the new CCPA Regulations and the CPRA making up the entire body of California privacy law, make sure to stay up to date on all the new regulations with OneTrust DataGuidance.
