Virginia: Bill amending CDPA requiring parental consent for minors using social media dies in committee

On February 13, 2024, House Bill 1161 to amend the Consumer Data Protection Act died in the House Committee on Communications, Technology, and Innovation after no motion was made on the bill by the committee action deadline.
