Utah: Bill for Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force signed by Governor
The Utah Governor signed, on 24 March 2022, House Bill ('HB') 335 for the Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force. In particular, HB 335 will:
- create the Blockchain and Digital Innovation Task Force;
- direct the appointment of members to the task force;
- direct the task force to:
- develop knowledge and expertise about blockchain and related technologies; and
- make policy recommendations related to blockchain and related technologies;
- require the task force to report annually to the Business and Labor Interim Committee and the Legislative Management Committee; and
- set a repeal date for the task force.
