The Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport ('DCMS') announced, on 27 May 2022, its research into UK's cybersecurity sectoral analysis survey and its growth to inform government policy on cybersecurity. In particular, the DCMS outlined that cybersecurity businesses registered in the Orbis and Beauhurst databases will be contacted by Ipsos for a telephone interview to get an overview of the business' products or services, and their business growth plans, in the cyber sector.

Furthermore, the DCMS noted that businesses can prepare itself for the interviews, it has provided a pre-interview question help sheet to identify the right person in the organisation to participate and prepare for the interview.
