In particular, the PDPO highlighted that the portal will provide a platform allowing data controllers and processors to notify personal data security breaches and register with the PDPO, and for individuals to easily file complaints to the same. In addition, the PDPO outlined that the portal will provides a means of promoting knowledge about personal data protection and privacy best practices, guidelines, and tips.

In addition, the PDPO urged all private and public data controllers and processors to register with the PDPO immediately.
