Moldova: NCPDP issues statement on compliance of Customs Service
The National Centre for the Protection of Personal Data ('NCPDP') issued, on 20 May 2020, a statement regarding the compliance of the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova. In particular, the NCPDP noted that it had organised a working meeting to discuss the compliance of the Customs Service in the field of personal data protection, including with regards to notification of video surveillance record system and other personal data record held by the entity, in particular the Integrated Customs Information System. In addition, the NCPDP expressed its readiness to provide the necessary support to the Customs Service in carrying out its tasks, including by providing the necessary consultations.
