Italy: ACN, DNA, and State Police sign agreement to exchange information and best practices

On August 7, 2024, the Italian National Security Agency (ACN) announced that it signed an agreement with the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate (DNA) and the State Police on the exchange of information and best practices.

According to the ACN, the agreement structures the flow of information between the ACN, the DNA, and the State Police following legislation requiring coordination between the bodies. The agreement outlines the modalities of mutual information exchange and aims to reconcile the needs of judicial investigation with the operational resilience of systems and services.
