International: CoE announces Armenia signs protocol amending Convention 108

The Council of Europe ('CoE') announced, on 2 October 2019, that the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Paruyr Hovhannisyan ('the Ambassador'), had signed the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with Regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data ('Convention 108 Amending Protocol'). In particular, the CoE highlighted that Armenia became the 34th country to sign the Convention 108 Amending Protocol.
